I've had my fair share of dating men in my time. Well, maybe not my fair share as I'm sure there are people out there that have dated handfuls more, but hey.

On-line dating isn't really my cup of tea. However, I won't really know whether it truly isn't my thing until I try it at least one. I might try one of those free on-line dating sites at some point in the future. Maybe now's the time to do it, actually, as summer's here. I think I'll rephrase that: I HOPE summer's here. I know it's really hot this week, but knowing the British weather and how temperamental it can be, this week might be the only summer we get. That'll be a tragedy but nevertheless a tragedy we should all be used to by now, innit?I've never really been one for Candle light and flowers. I do appreciate the sentiment, but flowers have never really done it for me. It's not to say that I don't like them, but I find that when I get them I feel I'm expected to start gushing in a high-pitched voice that they're beautiful and get a bit teary eyed. What happens is that I then end up acting a bit awkward.

Get me a nice box of chocolates - we can eat it together; cook me a surprise meal, kiss me when I least expect it - I even get all silly over hugs. I might even warm to candle light. But flowers? Give 'em to someone else, please. Thank you.The thing with me and the whole candle light thing is that I tend to play around with the hot wax. I like to spill it onto my palm and watch it cool and get hard. Then I like peeling it off my palm. I'm not sure if I'd extend to other parts of my body but I wouldn't rule out trying it some time.

So, on-line dating might be my hobby for the summer - just as an experiment though. Might prove to be a lacklustre experience or a Beautiful one. Might bag me a beautiful soul. Ya never know.
