Joeywas ata fair. It was the type of fair with tents full of weird and wonderful things such as meditation sessions or seances. He was there with his wife Camilla. Joey didn't care for these things, but his wifewas obsessedthe weirdly dressed people and the old lady's that tell your fortune. He strode around the fair holding his wife's hand, as she attempted to pull him into tent after tent after tent. The latest tent he was pulled into sold all sorts of incense and smelling oils. "Oh I adore this scent! Have a sniff darling!" Camilla smiled excitedly as shepushed a scented candle under his nose. Joey smiled weakly at her,and subtly steered his wife out of the tent. Suddenly Camilla gasped. Joey turned to look at her questioningly, but she had already wrenched free of his hand and was heading determinedly over to yet another tent! Joey sighed and went after her.'HYPNOTHERPY' said the small wooden sign next to the tent. Joeys heart sank as he realised that Camilla wanted to be hypnotised! He caught sight of her waving at him from inside the tent and went over to her, looking around him nervously. "Ive volunteered us to be hypnotised honey! isn't that wonderful?! I adore hypnotherapy!" She said excitedly, looking delighted."Great", Joey didn't feel very enthusiastic as he sat down on the chair that the hypnotherapist gestured at. Soon the hypnotherapist was dangling a pocket watch in front of the couple. "You are feeling very sleepy..." he murmured "your eyelids are growing heavy". Joeys eyelids did indeed start to grow heavy as he watched the watch swinging back and forth. He started to fall into a trance, and lost all awareness. "You are 30 years younger" sang the hypnotherapist, "and you haven't started dating yet!" At the click of his fingers, the hypnotherapist woke Joey and Camilla up - but had it worked?! "How do you know this woman - are you dating?" asked the Hypnotherapist to Joey. "N...no" stammered Joey, clearly embarrassed, as he went red at the suggestion. "I...I fancy her though!". The hypnotherapist laughed. "Well you wont get her -Shes dating me!" Joey looked crestfallen and the hypnotherapist laughed cruelly. He had hypnotised Camilla to believe he was her boyfriend, and there was nothing Camilla or Joey could do about it! Camilla took the hypnotherapists hand "I adore you honey" she said, looking lovingly up at him. The hypnotherapist laughed again, lured her out of the tent, and Joey never saw his wife again.
