For a professional career woman finding a decent man in a tavern is not very easy or likely. A smokey, loud pub is not all that exciting after a stressful day at work. It is not usually a good idea to date at work and it is often said it is best to keep the boardroom and the bedroom separate. I tend to agree with this.

Proceed slowly and with common sense to increase your likelihood of meeting someone that you can get along with well and enjoy a long term relationship without being used and tossed aside or worse yet taken financial advantage of. Always meet first dates in a very public place, preferably in the daytime or take a friend along with you.
