swing for life

Today a girlfriend and I are planning to go out to club where they will be having speed dating. We both thought it would be so exciting to get out and meet eight different guy in twenty four minutes. We wanted to see if just maybe there would be one decent guy in the bunch who would be worth going out to dinner with and getting to know for longer then three minutes. So my girlfriend and I decided we were going to get all dressed up and prepare for a night with no potential amount of passion but alot of excitement.

When we had arrived the first thing that we noticed was the fact that the place was packed and everybody seemed to know everybody. It looked like we were not the only ones who came with a friend, we saw groups of guys and groups of girls. We weren't even the room where the speed dates would take place yet but every passing minute it just got more and more exciting. You could already see some people talking to someone they liked, there was passion and romance in the air and we hadn't even started.

When it finally began all the women were assigned a table while the men waited outside for us girls to be situated. My girlfriend and I had gotten to sit right next to one another and already our cheeks began to blush. After both the men and women were briefed on the rules it was time to start and my first date arrived at my table. He was very sweet and trying to make an excuse for being there. He had said his friends had forced him to come and I told him that me and my friend were just trying to find something exciting to do. I actually liked the guy and i made sure I got his number, then it was time for next guy. The night went really well i had laughed alot and met some pretty cool people but I wasn't taking it to seriously. There would be no passion for me tonight.
