I met my husband through Silver Standard dating services based in Manchester. I had been bored one rainy Saturday afternoon when I had looked up dating services on my computer. I had dated about five different guys that I had met through the dating services establishment. Then I had come across Alex, my true love, that will hopefully will last forever. He had just joined Silver Standard Dating Services when he met me. We fell head over heals in love.

I often looked at magazines because I worked in a hair dressers and there were plenty of them about the place. I had entered a competition to win three thousand pounds in holiday vouchers. It was so very exciting for me when I won it. I rushed home that evening to tell Alex. He was over the moon about it. The next day I went to London to collect the vouchers and I did a photo shoot with the magazine. I went to stay the night at Eden Park, where I had grown up. My friend Hope still lived there. I was going to spend a couple of nights in her spare room.

The next day she walked down the High Street with me. A guy rushed towards me and gave me a warm embrace. It was my ex partner Marco that I had lived with when I was eighteen to twenty years old. It had been ten years since I had last seem him. It really was amazing to see him again and he still had that adorable grin. The three of us got chatting about our lives now.

That night I was sitting in bed reading a travel book when I saw someone climbing through the window. I was so surprised to see it was Marco. He came and sat on the edge of the bed. He told me to be quiet so we didn't wake Hope up. He said that he was so sad to hear that I was married because when he saw me all the old feelings he had for me had come flooding back. I gave him a cuddle to show that it was wonderful to see him again. He climbed into my bed and we began kissing and then he pulled up my nightdress and we began making love ever so quietly. Afterwards he climbed out of the window and off he went.

I felt so guilty the next day that I decided to leave London earlier than I planned and to go back to Manchester. Alex was so pleased to see me and he pointed to all the travel brochures on the table. We sat on the sofa and looked through them together. We had to decide where we would go on holiday to. We had three thousand pounds to spend. We finally decided on staying in a water bungalow in the Maldives on a palm fringed tropical island. The next day we went to the travel agency to book our trip to paradise. We booked it to take in two months time so that Alex could get that much time off work.

Three weeks after booking our trip I realised that my period was late. Alex always used condoms and when I had made love with my old flame, Marco, we hadn't used any protection. In my lunch time I went to the chemist to buy a digital pregnancy test. I did it in the toilets at work and to my dismay it came back pregnant 2-3 weeks. My heart sank and I almost threw up. Tears came down my face and I had to go back and cut a lady's hair.
