A friend of mine suggested that I try a dating service after the success that he found when he tried it. He went into it blindly and came out with both his eyes and his nose wide open for the woman that soon after became his wife. Their story really is a sweet one. She was practically a professional when it came to using the dating service. She had met several gentlemen, a few of whom she dated for more than a week or two. It was sort of a past time for her. She always said that meeting people through a dating service was a great way to make connections and build your network for professional purposes. I never doubted that. Apparently my friend did not either. As a spur of the moment thing, he decided to try it out. He figured that there would not be much harm in it, so there was nothing for him to lose. He did not meet his wife right away, either. Actually, he had been a member of the dating service for almost a year before he finally found her. He pretty much had the same attitude that she had about it. It was a hobby for him. Every week he had a new date and none of them ever turned into a serious long-term relationship. Somehow, as if it were some sort of cosmic thing, both he and she decided at the same time that it was time to settle down and find a long-term partner. Then, they just happened to stumble across each other at the store one day. They were both in the breakfast food aisle and the sparks immediately flew. They did not exchange phone numbers or addresses then but when they checked in with the dating service later on that week, they were surprised to learn that they were both members of the same service! They could not turn each other away, so they went out on a date. After that, they were seeing each other on a weekly basis. Eventually they started seeing each other on an almost daily basis. They were so well-suited for each other that they decided to give marriage a shot. That was ten years ago. After the good results that they both received from a dating service, maybe I should try it out! There is nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

My dog Millie died today. It was awful. She couldn't get out of her basket in the morning, and she barley looked up at me when I came in the room. She was 15 years old and had been acting weirdly all week. She was such a lovable dog, but recently she had stopped greeting my children, and had just slept all day. She couldn't walk for very long, and she didn't enjoy her hourly tickle from my young daughter.I realised that it was her time to be put down when she couldn't stand this morning. I also realised I had the terrible job of breaking the news to my children. I went into the sunny garden where the children were already swinging on the swings intheir pyjamas. As soon as I came outside, by 7 year old son Liam jumped off his swing and ran towards me. "Mum! Mum!" he shouted excitedly "We've been waiting for you! Look what we've made!" He led me over to a pile of garden toys. He pointed at it and beamed, "Its an obstacle course for Millie!" he said triumphantly.As my brain frantically searched for the right words to say,my 5 year olddaughter Maddie tumbled into me. She had been swinging Millie's lead round and round and had got very dizzy. I hoisted her upright, then sat her down on the lawn in front of me. I told Liam to come and sit as well. The children fiddled with the lead as I told them that Millie wouldn't want to play today as she feels poorly. I told them that I would take her to the animal doctor soon, and that the children should stay here with their Daddy, who would be home soon. "When Millie comes back from the vet, can she play them?" asked Liam slowly. "Don't be silly" answered my daughter, clipping the lead around her brothers wrist, "She will want to be nursed back to health by me with my doctor barbie! She needs lots of bed rest!" she looked very pleased with herself as she said this, as if she was a passionateexpert on the subject. I watched my children sadly, and then tried again. "Well actually, Millie will have to have her bed rest at the vets, she can't come back here I'm afraid, its better for her at the vets." I paused, and searched my sons face for a flicker of realisation. It came. "NO!" he suddenly said loudly, standing up. "You're not going to bring her back! You're going to tell the vet to make her go to sleep! NO NO NO NO NO!" he took off then, running back into the house, still shouting 'NO!', with the dog lead still swingingfrom his wrist. Maddie looked up at me "I don't understand Mummy?" she said looking abit scared "Why is Liam angry? Why does Millie have to go to sleep? Why can't I make her better? Why can't she play? Why is she poorly? Whats wrong with her?" I picked her up, cuddled her close, and the questions stopped. I told her to go and play some more, and went to find Liam. I found him lying on the kitchen floor sobbing with his arms around the dog. The dog was still breathing, she looked at me with dull blind eyes, old age radiating from her pores. I sat on a chair, pulled my son onto my lap, looked outside and saw Maddie swinging on the swing, and began the task of explaining death to Liam. That was two hours ago. Millie is gone, the vet put her down straight away. Liam has barricaded himself in his bedroom, and my husband is trying to distract Maddie. Me? I'm convinced this is all a dream and that when I wake up and go downstairs, Millie will be fine, and the kids will be happy. Unfortunately though, the possibility of this being a dream was destroyed long ago.

I never thought that I would be dating men anytime in the near future, because I was married and didn't feel like I would be getting a divorce anytime soon. But then my whole world had been shattered and my husband of 15 years had come to me and said he wanted a divorce. I couldn't believe it, I didn't feel like there had been anything wrong with our marriage and everything was going well.

Joshua was a sexy young man who knew he could get any girl he wanted however he had always longed for a long term girlfriend but he just could not ever find the right girl. He either found complete Moran's who would use him for his money or just plain Jane's who he was never attracted to and then there was the artificial girls who would just be so fake and complete airheads. He knew he judged people completely through looks and he knew that was why he could not find a decent girl to settle down with. He hadn't been in a relationship since high school where he couldn't remember a day since he started high school he wasn't with Jessica his first love. Jessica and Joshua were a couple for 5 years. My name is Wilf and I am 45 years old. By the way I am really stupid and I live in a bin with my friend Froggy the badger. Froggy loves to cuddle people which can be really annoying sometimes when you're the kind of guy who doesn't want to embrace a badger, especially if it lives in a bin. Well, let me tell you about me, I have dark purple eyes with a tint of yellow hiding at the back, greeny/bluey skin with a nose that looks like it has been covered in cheese and toasted. I have no eyebrows and my lips are silver with 3 dark red teeth hiding behind them. My hair is gold with a silver pole going straight up from the centre of my head, all of my hair is attached to that pole. I have one ear because Froggy was hungry and I was asleep, oh yeah I forgot to tell you that I don't wear a single tiny bit of clothing. One day I was swinging on a home made swing that some guy had left in the alleyway, and Froggy really wanted to have a go at swinging. "Why can't I have a go at swinging!!! I hate you!!" shouted Froggy when Wilf refused to give him a go on the swing. "You can £@$% off, you never let me have a go on any of your stuff" replied Wilf calmly. "Fine then, I will." and with that Froggy stormed off out onto the street which was a very bad idea. "No! Stop!" shouted Wilf, not because he cared if Froggy went off but because there were cars out their and badgers are well known for how they deal with cars. Wilf ran out of the alleyway after Froggy. Someone screamed and was confused when he saw a woman looking at him in horror. Bing. He suddenly remembered that he was stark naked and that in normal society, you were actually supposed to wear clothes, not that Wilf knew why. As far as he knew, there was no reason to wear clothes. He ignored her and ran on through the crowd. People hurrying to get out of his way. He ran to the side of the road and that's when he saw him, Froggy or what remained of him was lying in the middle of the road not moving at all. He fell to his knees. He looked around him, no one was paying the dead badger any attention. If only he had let the badger have a go at swinging, then he would have lived and he was talking about dating a badger that lived next door.Then he saw the policeman running towards him.
