I was reading this book one time about speed skating. I have no idea how I thought speed skating was similar to speed dating, but I remember every time I come to that word of speed skating, I thought it read speed dating.

It took me about 4 days to read that book and I only remember just parts of it. I do remember this guy named Neil was talking about his girlfriend and having a candle light dinner. I wish I could remember the name of that book.

Well anyway talking about speed dating, I always wondered what the meaning of that was. Sometimes instead of looking up words, I make up my own meaning. You do know some people do have an imaginary sense of humour, and that is me.

My meaning of speed dating is to see how many guys or girls you can date in a given amount of time. For instance if your best friend made a bet with you and said I bet you can’t date 20 girls in one week, and you try to do it, that would be speed dating to me.

I remember making a smart comment to my older brother when he was dating so many girls in a week. He claims he was doing it for a bet with someone. Wow, what a life my brother has!

As usual, my brother told me to mind my own business or else he would tell mom and dad. I am the one that always gets into trouble with them, and decided I better go back to my corner.

As I was sitting in my little corner of my room, my cat whisper come up to me, and wanted to be petted. I sometimes pretend to sit down at the table with her and have a candle light dinner and we just sit there talking about the day. Well in her case, she would meow when I would talk to her.

I am so tempted to sneak back into my brother’s room and see what girl he is going to pick up tonight, being I consider he is doing the speed dating thing that most men do, but I guess I had better lay low. Who knows, he might be talking to his girlfriend, and then I would really be in a lot of trouble.

I was grounded once for 2 weeks, and I do not ever want to be grounded again.
